This unit has an Eddy Current load absorption unit, which unlike the older inertia dynos, allows the dyno technician to control vehicle RPM and Speed at any throttle opening. This facility greatly increases the mapping efficiency of powercommanders on fuel injected bikes by allowing part-throttle mapping to be done with far greater accuracy than is possible with an inertia dyno.
